Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in renovation or construction industry will be an added advantage.

• Able to read technical drawings and perform site measurement.

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities
1. Tendering & Quotation

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents for renovation and construction projects.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and client requirements to prepare accurate pricing.

• Obtain material and subcontractor quotations for cost comparison.

• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ) and cost breakdowns.

2. Cost Control & Budgeting

• Monitor project costs to ensure they are within the approved budget.

• Prepare cost reports and track material usage, labour cost, and variation orders.

• Identify potential cost savings and highlight any budget overruns.

3. Contract Administration

• Prepare, review, and manage contracts, purchase orders, and work orders with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.

• Evaluate and certify subcontractor progress claims and payments.

4. Variation Orders & Final Accounts

• Prepare and submit variation order (VO) claims to clients.

• Verify subcontractors' VO and negotiate final amounts.

• Prepare final account statements for completed projects.

5. Site Coordination & Progress Monitoring

• Liaise with site team to verify quantities, work done, and material usage.

• Conduct site measurement and assist in progress claim verification.

• Attend site meetings and coordinate with project manager on cost matters.

6. Procurement Support

• Source and negotiate prices for materials and subcontract works.

• Maintain supplier and subcontractor database.

• Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays.

7. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate cost records and filing of all project documents.

• Prepare monthly cost reports for management review.

• Support management in cost forecasting and tender analysis.
