- Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs for the projects - Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation - Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly - Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project - Select subcontractors, agree the scope of services and allocate work. - Monitor and control costs throughout the project. - Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers - Select and/or source construction materials - Measure and value the work done on site - Advise on any outstanding contractual claims remaining. - Assessment of contractor\xe2\x80\x99s claim. - Dealing with contractual and legal matters. - Run cost analyses for ongoing repair and maintenance work. - Preparation of final account and final deatails Bill of Quantities (BQ) - Acting as financial advisors and monitoring progress for the client. - Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents. - Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required. - Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
