\xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for understanding, quantifying, budgeting and managing the costs of the construction and building projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Breakdown the construction materials and source for the price (cost, delivery, handling, storage etc). \xe2\x80\xa2 Keeping an updated database / library of building materials (catalogues and pricing). \xe2\x80\xa2 Analysing the various construction options available which will influence the project cost. \xe2\x80\xa2 Screen through the tender notice and requirements, filling of bills of quantities, gathering of supporting documents and reference for tendering purposes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Tracking of project cost breakdown and to analyse project progress vs expenditure. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare quotation comparison from suppliers, subcontractors and advice on any outstanding contractual claims to clients or claim from sub-contractors. \xe2\x80\xa2 To be appointed as ISO steering committee member assisting in Company\xe2\x80\x99s QMS in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standard.
