Working Location

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with main contractors or builders.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cost and contract management for construction projects.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Handle procurement: source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage subcontractor engagements.
• Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders (VO), final accounts, and project cost monitoring.
• Participate in pre-tender activities including quantity take-offs, cost estimation, price comparison, and tender submissions.
• Assist in tender interviews and negotiations when required.
• Work closely with project and site teams to ensure financial control and timely project completion.
• Prepare cost proposals, quotations, and tender documents for new projects.
• Handle project documentation including PQP, safety-related paperwork, and other site administrative matters.
• (Advantage) Knowledge in landscape works or interior projects is a plus.
