Company Background

We are representing our client a Mechanical & Electrical Service Provider (Industrial Construction Industry) to look for Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to be based in Ipoh.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare, review and evaluate tender documents, cost estimations and bills of quantities (BQ) for M&E projects. Liaise with engineers, consultants and the client to gather project specifications and technical requirements. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and ensure cost efficiency. Monitor project cost control, budget and variation orders (VO). Prepare progress claims, final accounts, and project cost reports. Assist in procurement planning and cost negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors. Identified cost-savings opportunities without compromising technical requirements.

Job Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related Fields. Minimum 2-3 years working experience in M&E or the construction industry Good understanding of electrical or mechanical systems in construction projects. Familiar with standard forms or contracts (e.g., PAM, CIDB, JKR) Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD: knowledge of QS software is an advantage. Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines Possesses good communication and analytical skills.

Working hours: Mon-Fri (9.00am-6.00pm) & Sat (9.00am - 1.00pm)
