We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, contracts, and claims for our oil and gas project in Pengerang. The role will be based at the project site and will work closely with the project and site teams to ensure cost control and budget compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
Monitor project costs and ensure spending is within approved budget.
Prepare progress claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
Handle variation orders, claims, and cost reports.
Review subcontractor quotations and assist in contract awards.
Verify subcontractor work progress and payment claims.
Maintain proper cost records and project documentation.
Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, and Procurement team.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and company procedures.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of working experience, preferably in oil and gas or construction projects.
Experience working at project or site-based environment is required.
Good knowledge of cost control, contracts, and measurement.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willing to be based in Pengerang project site.
Working Conditions
Project site-based role.
5.5 working days per week (subject to project requirement).
