Job Description

• Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimating, and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, cost estimating software).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on thorough analysis of project requirements and specifications.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and cost control measures.
• Participate in the tendering process, evaluating bids and proposals from contractors and suppliers.
• Negotiate and finalize contractual agreements with vendors and subcontractors.
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and measurements of materials and labor required for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely quantity measurements.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying and addressing potential cost overruns.
• Administer and manage construction contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Handle variations, claims, and disputes related to project costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Provide clear and concise updates on cost-related matters to project teams and management.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements.

• Contributions to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), a mandatory retirement savings scheme in Malaysia.
• Provide SOCSO coverage for employees.
• Entitled to 14 days of Annual Leave per year
