Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the infrastructure or construction industry.
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and related tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a team-oriented mindset.
• Familiar with local construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Willing to work 6 days a week and travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with site personnel and prepare progress claims on time based on work completed.
• Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates and budgets for infrastructure projects.
• Monitor and control project costs, identify potential cost savings, and recommend measures to improve financial performance.
• Liaise with site teams and clients on variation works and ensure proper documentation.
• Participate in tender preparation and submission.
• Assist in contract administration, progress reporting, and cost tracking.
• Support the management team with ad-hoc tasks or assignments when required.
