Job Purpose
To control and manage project costs, contracts, variations and payments to ensure the project is completed within budget and maximises profit.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Tender & Pre-Contract
Prepare BOQ, take-off quantities from drawings
Prepare cost estimate & tender pricing
Analyse subcontractor & supplier quotations
Support tender submission & commercial evaluation
B. Cost Control
Prepare project budget based on tender
Monitor actual cost vs budget
Identify cost overruns and savings
C. Progress Claims
Prepare monthly progress claims to client
Measure work done on site
Prepare subcontractor payment certificates
D. Variation & Final Account
Prepare and evaluate:
Variation Orders (VO)
Claims
Final Accounts
Negotiate with client & subcontractors
E. Contract Administration
Manage contract documents
Check compliance with contract terms
Support dispute & claim resolution
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction
Min 2 year experience in construction
Knowledge of standard forms (PAM, PWD, FIDIC)
Able to read drawings & do take-off
Strong Excel & measurement skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
