Job Description

Job Responsiblities:

Prepare, review, and manage tender documentation, including cost estimates and budget planning. Ensure timely submission of tenders in accordance with specified deadlines, and attend tender interviews or presentations as required. Handle monthly progress claims, manage variation orders, finalize accounts, and prepare payment certificates for projects. Draft and issue Letters of Award/Appointment for subcontractors. Source, negotiate, and shortlist subcontractors and suppliers for current and upcoming projects. Mentor and guide junior contract executives, promoting knowledge sharing, skill development, and overall team performance. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all contract documentation, ensuring that files are properly organized and kept up to date. Attend site meetings, perform site valuations, and coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare monthly progress reports and support final account documentation. Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and project efficiency. Any additional responsibilities/ tasks as delegated by the Management as needed.

Job Requirements:

Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Minimum of 2 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying expertise and an Interior Design background or equivalent experience. Proficient in MS Excel, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and negotiation abilities. Strong project coordination and time management. Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier negotiations. Experience in contract law or related certifications is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
