Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost estimation, tendering, and procurement activities specifically for Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) aspects of construction projects.
• Prepare and analyze project cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for CSA works.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments pertaining to CSA components.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts related to CSA systems.
• Monitor CSA project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Provide advice on cost-effective solutions to enhance project profitability with a focus on CSA.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of CSA systems into the overall project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with specific experience in CSA projects.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in construction cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Willingness to travel or relocate as required.
