Requirements
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in design and build government projects.
• Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Monitor contract compliance, ensuring that terms and conditions are adhered to by all parties involved.
• Coordinate and manage the procurement of materials, labor, and services, ensuring they meet project specifications and budget.
• Monitor project costs and track expenditures to prevent cost overruns.
• Attend site meetings and inspections to track project progress and verify the quantities of work completed.
• Identify potential risks related to cost, time, and materials, and provide strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Prepare and submit final accounts for completed projects, ensuring all financial matters are resolved in accordance with the contract.
