Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
taking-off quantities
,
Bills of Quantities (BQ)
, and
tender documentation
Obtain quotations and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors; conduct negotiations to ensure cost effectiveness
Lead and manage contract administration activities including:
Tender submission, evaluation, interviews, and reporting
Cost estimation and budgeting
Progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts
Coordination with consultants and project stakeholders
Carry out measurement and verification of site quantities
Coordinate effectively with
Clients, Consultants, Construction Teams, and Sub-contractors
on site measurement and valuation matters
Monitor and manage changes to scope of works, contract conditions, variation orders, and extension of time (EOT)
Attend site meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings as required
Requirements
Possess at least a
Bachelor's Degree
in
Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management
or equivalent
Minimum
2 years of working experience
in a QS consultancy firm and/or property development company
Willing to be
based in Semenyih
and travel to project sites when required
Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
Positive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Good communication and coordination skills
