Job Description


Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Preparation and submission of budgetary estimates from tender drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and costs estimation, progress claim, variation order, evaluation of claims, etc. \xc2\xb7 Prepare award of contracts, check contract documents and to recommend contractor\'s valuations. \xc2\xb7 Accountable for pre and post contract management, monitoring materials and construction cost, site valuation, variation order and final accounts. \xc2\xb7 Assist in operation matters on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS. \xc2\xb7 Monitor on amendments to the scope of works and conditions of contract, variation order and apply extension of time if necessary. \xc2\xb7 Acquire quotation from contractor and suppliers for purpose of cost assessment, analysis or budgeting. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with client, consultant, suppliers and sub-contractors. \xc2\xb7 Co-ordinate with finance department on payment related matters, monitoring monthly projection of cash flow, physical report for on-going project. \xc2\xb7 Attend site valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary. \xc2\xb7 Prepare/verify payment certificates and finalize final account of projects. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess at a Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Professional Degree, in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent. \xc2\xb7 Candidates with interior design or draftsman experience will have added advantage \xc2\xb7 Possess own transport \xc2\xb7 Computer literate (Microsoft Office application & AutoCAD). \xc2\xb7 QS post for both Pre & Post Contract works in Building Construction \xc2\xb7 Excellent communicator and possess impressive numeracy skills to handle the financial and mathematical demands of the role. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of construction methods, costing summary and materials budget handling skills. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate innovative approaches to problem solving and an ability to negotiate across the various levels of any construction environment. \xc2\xb7 Proactive and ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision. \xc2\xb7 Able to prioritise and respond with appropriate level of urgency. \xc2\xb7 Highly reliable, confident in handling data. \xc2\xb7 Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage) \xc2\xb7 Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 9.00am to 6.00pm \xc2\xb7 Willing to work in Seri Kembangan, Selangor Interested candidates please send your resume to enquiry0carriera0com0my or call us at 017-7679688.
