To manage project costs, estimates, and budgets in construction, ensuring financial efficiency, contract compliance, and cost control while minimizing risks and maximizing value.
Qualification & Requirement:
A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 year(s) of experience in quantity surveying or cost consulting, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in cost estimation and cost management techniques.
Meticulous, dedicated, and able to work with minimum supervision.
Independent and good in communication skills.
Optional but able to start in short notice is an added advantage.
Willing to be relocated to Sibu, Sarawak.
Applicants from Sibu, Sarawak will be given a priority.
Main Responsibilities:
To prepare and submit progressive claims to clients within specific time frame, payment collections and final accounts settlement
Attend to site valuation and measurement of work done on site and verify subcontractor's monthly claim
Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and other parties involved in all contractual related issues
Prepare project budget and quantities taking off and closely monitor material order with site personnel to ensure all material required are in order
To maintain regular documentation of records.
To carry out such duties and job functions as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Superior and such duties are not necessarily limited to the above title and responsibilities and may be subject to changes.
