Job Description

General

Assist QS manager in executing commercial related business. Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Engineering Stage

Assist QS manager in cost estimation at each design review stage.

2) Procurement Stage

Tender documents compilation. Tender package issuance to bidders. Addendum issuance to bidders. Check price error and abnormalities in proposals submitted by bidders. Bidder price comparison. Contract compilation and binding.

3) Construction Stage

Support EHS operation. Prepare Change Order and Variation Order documentation. Execute progress claim procedure. Liaise with package owners in progress claim verification.

4) Project Closure

Assist QS manager in final account closure.

Job Requirements:

Degree/ Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Management or equivalent. At least 2 years in the construction, quantity surveyor or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams). Excellent knowledge and understanding in the various aspects of construction industry. Familiar with engineering cost and industry standards. Highly motivated with strong organizational and time management skills. Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Good attention to detail with high importance placed on accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
