Job Description

Manage and prepare contracts, tender documents, and other requirements applicable to the project Provides detailed and accurate quantity take-offs against the technical drawings, specifications and scope of work documentation Reviews and interprets engineering documentation such as drawings/specifications/scope of works to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating Verify and evaluate Contractual Claims and supplier invoice before passing to account dept for payment purpose To ensure the Tender Documents are duly filled / complete and submit on time Liaising with internal and external and other necessary people to ensure the project follows to the timeline Assists in the follow up of pre-contract and post-contract administration of projects assigned Assists in the preparation of tender bid documents Assists to evaluate contractors and sub-contractors' bids and in the recommendation of awards for contracts as appropriate Attends site and other meetings as required
Job Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines Willing to travel to site if required
