Job Description

Responsibilities:

Preparation of cost estimates and bill of quantities (BOQ). Preparing BOQ and performing quantity take-off by studying project specifications and drawings. Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying cost-saving opportunities. Participation in pre-tender activities with clients, architects, and project managers, including raising relevant pre-bid queries. Preparing cost comparison and evaluation for procurement and subcontractor award. Coordinate with the design team to analyse architectural, structural, and M&E drawings. Manage post-contract activities including valuation of work done, assessment of claims and variations, and preparation of interim and final accounts. Prepare and review variation orders, claims, and cost reports to ensure accurate financial tracking. Conduct feasibility studies, value engineering exercises, and cost analysis to optimise project performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and achieve value for money across all project stages.
