Certifications Required - Shotfirer / Blasting Certificates from PDRM - Shotfirer Certificate from JMG Malaysia \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow local legislation with respect to Quarry Operations / Licenses / Blasting etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide opportunities to train on safety aspects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Put in place control mechanisms to achieve quality targets (sampling, blending) in collaboration with process and quality. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate and encourage liaison between quality control & process departments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Produce at the lowest cost whilst maintaining material availability. \xe2\x80\xa2 Optimise reserves as defined in the mining plan. The mining plan is to be updated every 3 years. \xe2\x80\xa2 Optimise equipment and resources. \xe2\x80\xa2 Track & inspect and optimize equipment performance. Manage Contractors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement Quarry Best practices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Negotiate, award & control contracts. Working always with Procurement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Obtain and maintain authorizations and permits. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and action opportunities to augment reserves. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prevent encroachment of Company property. \xe2\x80\xa2 Program overburden stripping programming, contract
