to join our team. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working with data, analyzing pricing and contracts, and supporting sales teams with accurate and competitive quotations for both local and global customers.

As a

Quote Specialist

, you will be responsible for

preparing, verifying, and managing large and complex customer quotations

. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, sales teams, and customers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and competitive positioning while maintaining efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Work on large, complex customer quotes (including global and alliance accounts), requiring collaboration across multiple teams. Review and verify completeness of Strategic Quote Coversheets (SQCS). Enter and manage customer quotes in IQ and Sales Desktop systems, ensuring accuracy of contract pricing. Perform advanced verification of part numbers (commercial and MIL Spec) using tools such as Part Search, Component Quest, Darkside, and other web-based resources. Identify cross-selling opportunities and inform field sales teams. Communicate and align with field sales on quote strategies and customer-specific nuances to maximize capture rate. Monitor deadlines, update field teams on progress, and support debit strategy as needed. Verify and prepare final quotes for return to customers, reporting discrepancies or omissions to sales.

Job Complexity:

Applies specialized skills developed through training and on-the-job experience. Completes work under moderate supervision, serving as a resource for less-experienced colleagues. Identifies patterns and key issues even from partial or conflicting data. Thinks broadly to solve problems and proposes new, less obvious solutions.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of relevant experience in quotation management, pricing, or sales operations. High school graduates with equivalent related experience will be considered. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage large datasets. Familiarity with ERP or quotation tools (Oracle, SAP, or similar) is an advantage.

Pay: Up to RM7,000.00 per month
