Job Description

Job Summary:

The Specification Executive will be responsible for ensuring that company's products are specified in architectural and design projects. This role involves working closely with architects, designers, and contractors to provide technical product information, samples, and support throughout the specification process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural and design specifications and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Product Specification:

Promote company's products to architects, interior designers, and contractors. Ensure products are specified in architectural plans and design projects. Provide detailed technical information, samples, and product literature to specifiers.
2.Client Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key specifiers and influencers in the industry. Conduct product presentations and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Greenlam's products.
3.Technical Support:

Offer technical advice and support to clients regarding product application and installation. Address any technical queries or concerns promptly and accurately. Collaborate with the technical team to develop and update technical documentation.
4. Market Analysis:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Gather feedback from clients and specifiers to identify market needs and opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams.
5. Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project specifications, and sales leads. Prepare regular reports on specification activities, client feedback, and market trends. Track and analyse specification success rates and outcomes.
Qualifications:

Required Diploma or Degree in any field. Preferred major studies such as Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or Sales & Marketing. 3+ years of experience in specification sales or a similar role in the construction or building materials industry. Strong understanding of architectural and design specifications. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
