Job Description


We are looking for a talented Research and Development Chef who will lead the charge in creating and refining our culinary offerings across all our brands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and launching new products, menus, and concepts. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless execution and alignment with our brand standards. Your passion for culinary innovation, attention to detail, and strategic mindset will drive our continued success and growth.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ideation, development, and implementation of new products, menus, and concepts from conception to launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of new offerings with our brand identity and business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee food production trials and taste panels to gather feedback and refine recipes for optimal flavor, texture, and presentation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support recipe development, specifications, and quality assurance.
  • Present proposals and recommendations to senior management for approval, incorporating feedback and insights.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Train and mentor culinary staff on new techniques, recipes, and standards to maintain consistency and quality across all outlets.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in culinary innovation and food science.
Qualification :
  • Diploma/Bachelor\'s degree in Culinary Arts is required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a professional chef.
  • Or proven experience in research and development within the culinary industry, with a strong track record of successful product launches and menu development.
  • Extensive knowledge of food trends, ingredients, flavor profiles, and culinary techniques.
  • Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recipe management software preferred.
