Core Competency or Requirements



oProfessional qualification: ACCA, ACA, CPA, or MIA member.

oMinimum 15-20 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, with at least 5-10 years in a senior leadership capacity within the property development, construction, or real-estate investment industry.

oProven experience in group consolidation, project financing, land acquisitions, and joint venture structures.

oExceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills with strong stakeholder influence.

oHigh integrity, strategic mindset, and ability to operate in a dynamic, multi-company environment.

oCandidates with solid finance controller/group finance manager backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities



oOversee group-level financial management, including consolidation of accounts for local and overseas subsidiaries.

oManage property development accounts, including project financing, bridging loans, term loans, end-financing, and progress billings.

oEnsure timely completion of monthly and annual closings, management reports, and financial performance reviews.

oDevelop and monitor budgetary controls, KPI tracking, and cash flow management to achieve organizational goals.

oOversee approval processes for revenue, expenditure, departmental budgets, and financial documentation.

oCollaborate with project, sales, and contract departments to align financial strategies with development objectives.

oEnsure full compliance with local and international accounting standards, taxation, and statutory regulations.

oMaintain strong governance in financial reporting, risk management, and internal control systems.

oLiaise with auditors, tax agents, the company secretary, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audits and compliance.

oMonitor changes in financial and property development regulations, assessing impacts on business operations.

oManage and strengthen relationships with banks, trustees, and financial institutions to support funding and capital structuring.

oProvide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the Board and Executive Management.

oLead and mentor the finance and accounting teams across group subsidiaries.

oDrive process improvements, digitalization, and automation to enhance financial efficiency.

oSupport expansion and restructuring initiatives within the Group's regional and international portfolio.

oTo undertake all other ad-hoc tasks assigned by or to the Finance Department and/or assigned by Management from time to time.
