Job Summary:
The Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of pharmaceutical products, from development to commercialization. This includes managing the product portfolio, strategic planning, market analysis, and working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, regulatory, and R&D teams. The role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market, strong project management skills, and the ability to drive product success in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
? Product Strategy & Planning:
? Develop and implement product strategies in alignment with overall business
goals.
? Collaborate with senior management to define product positioning, market
access strategies, and pricing strategies.
? Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory
developments to ensure product success and compliance.
? Product Lifecycle Management:
? Manage the product lifecycle from development to launch, ensuring products
meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
? Coordinate with R&D and regulatory teams to guide products through
development stages, clinical trials, and approvals.
? Ensure timely product launches by managing timelines, resources, and key
stakeholders.
? Market Analysis & Consumer Insights:
? Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, competitive
landscape, and potential opportunities for product improvement or expansion.
? Gather and analyze feedback from customers, sales teams, and healthcare
professionals to refine product offerings
Sales & Marketing Support
Support the development of product positioning and messaging that highlights
the product's unique value proposition.
? Provide training and ongoing support to the sales team to ensure they are
equipped to effectively promote the product.
? Track and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and sales trends to
inform future strategies.
? Financial Performance & Budgeting:
? Monitor the financial performance of the product portfolio, including revenue,
costs, and profitability.
? Manage product budgets and collaborate with finance to ensure efficient
allocation of resources.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or a related field.
? Experience in the therapeutic area relevant to the Obstetric & Gynaecology or
Orthopaedics is preferred
? 3-5 years of experience in product management, brand management, or related roles
within the pharmaceutical industry.
? Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, product lifecycle management, and
market dynamics.
? Experience working with cross-functional teams including regulatory, marketing, and
sales.
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
? Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
