Sales Manager
Reporting to: Group Managing Director / Group Executive Chairman
Key Responsibilities
? Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to drive market growth, customer
acquisition, and business expansion.
? Identify and pursue new business opportunities, key accounts, and strategic
partnerships.
? Develop and execute sales strategies, product positioning, and go-to-market
plans in alignment with corporate objectives.
? Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with key decisionmakers
to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
? Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide
strategic insights to the management team.
? Oversee the complete sales cycle, including contract negotiation, order
coordination, delivery planning, and timely collection.
? Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of customer records, sales pipeline,
and business performance updates for management review.
? Uphold company policies, compliance standards, and ISO requirements in daily
operations.
Requirements
? Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Chemistry, or a related field.
? Minimum 8 years of relevant sales or business development experience,
preferably in B2B or chemical/industrial supply sector, with at least 3 years in a
leadership role.
? Proven ability to lead a sales team and deliver measurable business results.
? Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficiency in Mandarin or other dialects is an added advantage.
? Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ambition to grow.
? Independent, resourceful, and willing to travel within Peninsular Malaysia (up to
50% travel requirement).
? A collaborative team leader able to drive performance while fostering a positive
team culture
