Radiographer Job Requirement

Possess Degree/Diploma in Medical Imaging Minimum 1 to 2 year working experience in a hospital settings Good Communication and interpersonal skills Proficient written and speaking in English and Bahasa Malaysia Valid annual practicing certificate where applicable

Job Scope

Able to carry out radiography procedures independently covering General x-rays, Mobile X-rays, OT procedures, CT-scans, MRI, able to handle Cath Lab Procedures and Mammography will be added as advantage Ensure patients understand requisitions of procedures Ensure equipment is regularly checked and any fault/malfunctions are reported and rectified. On-Call duties after office hours as scheduled Assisting in more complex/ special radiological examinations working with doctors such as radiologists and surgeons. Assess patients and their clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic techniques to produce high-quality/ diagnostic value images. Observing and maintaining contact with patients during their waiting and examination stay in the department; providing support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs.
