Fresh graduates are encourage to apply. As an R&D Assistant Engineer, you will assist engineers and technicians in our endeavor to produce new and innovative products. However, if you are perform well, there are chances to be promoted to R&D Engineer position. This role reports to the head of Mechanical R&D Department. Your responsibilities: - Convert 3D CAD models into technical drawings that will be used for manufacturing. - Write documentation for our products. - Record test results from experiments and write reports. You are next expected to perform the analysis but being able to do so is a bonus. - Assist in performing experiments from time to time. - Organize documents and perform routine tasks, such as registering part numbers in ERP system. - Other duties may be required to ensure the smooth running of the R&D effort within the Hardware and Design R&D team. Job Requirements: - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics or related fields. Diploma holders will start with Junior Engineer roles but there is opportunity to be promoted. - Proficient in SolidWorks or other CAD software. - Familiar with or willing to learn about ISO drawing standards and GD&T. - Willing to work at different working locations, including overseas when necessary. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ***Please send your resume and cover letter explaining why you are interested in this job and what you can offer to hr@stratusauto.com
