This position is for a skilled R&D Embedded Software/Firmware development engineer. This person will be working with a very knowledgeable and mature group of engineers and will learn the tools, products, software/firmware, and measurement algorithms/methods. In the future, this engineer will take over development and support responsibility for the forward leveraging common software platform for electronics test and measurement products. This product family includes multimeter, power supply, electronic load, function generators, and oscilloscope.

Key responsibilities include,

• Design and develop common software platform includes OS adaptive layer, drivers, APIs, tooling, automations, that enable old product modernization with next generation defined CPU/OS platform to extend the product life.
• Lead the project engagement with internal business partners on next generation CPU/OS platform adoption planning strategy and technical consultation.
• Participate in Agile development process and familiar with the software development life cycle from preliminary system analysis to test and deployment
• Implement unit tests and automated regressions tests to ensure software quality
• Handle escalation from the internal business partners teams as needed

Job Qualifications
-Highly proficient in C/C++ trained and object-oriented design knowledgeable (min 3-5 years experience)
- - Multi-Thread programming experience
-Embedded firmware development experience (min 3-5 years experience)
-Knowledge in the embedded operating systems in Linux/Wince (min 3-5 years experience)
-Experience with network protocols such as HTTP(S), TCP/IP, and UDP. Good Knowledge in USB, PCIe driver development is added advantage.
-Willing and motivated to learn/support existing test and measurement products and technologies throughout their active support life.
-Team player, positive attitude, passion for continuous learning, self-motivator, good analytical and troubleshooting skills, communication skills, apply multiple technologies that creatively exceed the user\xe2\x80\x99s expectations and drive business value
