Designs Keysight products and specifies the components that make up the products. Designs and develops products, components, processes, and systems using broad engineering concepts and research techniques. Documents research and design specifications. Solves complex and high impact design and development problems including customer application issue of varying scope and complexity. Uses product and customer applications knowledge to determine, define, develop and validate design concepts and methods. Facilitate transition of product design and enhancements to full production/delivery. May lead product definition/system design for complex features or coordinate a small group in feature development and integration.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver mechanical design/solution for electronic product involving plastic, sheet metal, machining, electronics, thermal and mechanism parts.
• Finalize parts specification, product specification and BOM and 3D & 2D drawings.
• Heavily involved in design analysis, root causing, GD&T, CAE simulation, DFM, DFMEA and design enhancement tasks.
• Solve complex engineering problem by conducting various engineering evaluation, safety, and reliability tests.
• Must be able to specify experiment programs and complete analysis of the results, summarizing findings, and making recommendations.
• Refine and improve design for cost down, value engineering and productivity.
• Setting technical direction and help to identify requirements for a product or system, in addition to leading the design and implementation.

Job Qualifications

R&D Mechanical team specialized in design and development for Keysight new products and value engineering for existing product and process.

Responsibilities:

• Reduces broad concepts, business strategies into structured projects

• Leads the design/ delivery of new product/ process/ service technology advancements; is the key technical contributor

• Solves complex, high impact design/ development problems

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Prefer >8 years of working experience in R&D field.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge in electronic product mechanical design with 3D & 2D CAD Skills.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Capable of assessing technologies and product using variety of methods.

• A thorough knowledge of materials, processes, and related manufacturing techniques such as industrial 4.0 or factory automation will be a bonus.
