Job Description


:

1.) Hardware Engineer Intern - Analog(EE)

You will be assigned an insightful mentor, who will guide you through your project and work term for a successful project experience. As an Intern, you will enjoy the unique opportunity to be exposed to many aspects of the product development cycle, including design, prototyping, development, testing, sustaining and manufacturing production.

For analog hardware design interest:

  • Fundamental knowledge of operational amplifiers, filters and transistors. Knowledge of ADC/DACs is an added bonus.
  • Enthusiasm for analog circuit, power supply and control systems design and troubleshooting
2.) Software Engineer Intern (EE)

As an intern, you will get the unique opportunity to be exposed to many aspects of software development life cycle and you will be assigned a mentor to guide you through your project. Software project development opportunities include embedded systems, device drivers, programming for hardware (I/O, bus, network interface, etc.) or development tools. Besides growing programming and technical skills, throughout the internship you will also gain exposure to various industry standard practices such as debugging tools, source control (Git), professional code development practices, development process (Agile), interacting with internal user/clients and more.

Position requirements :-
  • Strong high-level programming skills (C/C++)
  • Understanding of the following concepts and principles:
  • Programming for embedded systems or interfacing with hardware / devices
  • Computer system architecture
  • Object Oriented Programming
3.) RF Sustaining Engineer Intern (EE)
  • Analyse and resolve design failures observed in RF manufacturing and customer issues with robust solution. Solution may range from test methodology, hardware and components improvement.
  • Provide debug tool(LabVIEW tool) to production Failure Analysis Engineer and debug techs to recover failures in production
  • Decent exposure handling RF CAD tools (AWR) and SPICE in analysing design failures
  • Handles other sustaining projects such as End of Life components re-design and cost saving projects
Job expectation:
  • Expected to have interest in HW debugging and reverse engineering to find root cause
  • Good in technical documentation keep track daily progress to share with Tech Leads.
4.0 Engineering Support Assistant Interns (6-months Internship)

Engineers in our group create a variety of hardware products and accessories that are used to build high performance systems for a variety of industries, including automotive research and manufacturing production testing. An ESA is a member of that product development team and primarily works with teams from R&D engineering, manufacturing, procurement and planning teams. Responsibilities include solving logistical problems related to initial prototyping all the way through ramping to volume production of new designs and periodic sustaining of existing product designs.

Core Job Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Quickly procures parts for the team when needed.

\xc2\xb7 Identifies and solves part procurement needs and issues. Tracks part availability and maintains communication with procurement teams to ensure there are no availability problems.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates with manufacturing and planning to ensure success of prototype and manufacturing jobs.

\xc2\xb7 Creates new part numbers and symbols for use in designs and maintains the Bill of Materials for products in Agile.

\xc2\xb7 Follows-up and thoroughly tracks results of all assigned tasks.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 6 months internship Art/Business/Science Degree or Diploma.

\xc2\xb7 Very detail oriented

\xc2\xb7 Exhibits initiative & persistence to overcome obstacles in order to meet project goals

\xc2\xb7 Team player who works well with teammates & other internal groups

\xc2\xb7 Follows existing processes and identifies & escalates any process deficiencies

\xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and time management skills

\xc2\xb7 Ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines

\xc2\xb7 Thorough competence with Microsoft Office suite

5.0 R&D Hardware Technician Intern: * Work on technical drawing update, work instruction, schematic changes & component datasheet review
  • Participate in product certification, compliance, testing and evaluation
  • Execute circuit verification and validation test plan using instrument such as multimeter or oscilloscope.
  • Debug and repair faulty hardware from manufacturing or customer return.
  • Hardware PCBA rework, component soldering.
  • Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) through Agile process: ECO/ MCO.
  • Manage component EOL (End of life) database & inventory tracking.
  • Submit manufacturing prototype job build entry.
  • Manage R&D equipment library & equipment calibration.
  • Submit prototype and component purchase requisition (PR).
  • Manage prototype shipment & handle logistic for project.
  • Communicate with colleagues worldwide
Requirements: * Degree, diploma or certificate in Electronic/ Electrical Engineering or relevant education background.
  • Understanding basic digital, analog circuit, component characteristic.
  • Good communication skill in English language.
  • Good problem solving skill, initiative and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated to learn new things and a willingness to teach what you\'ve learned to the rest of the team.
  • Experience using any schematic EDA tool such as Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Orcad & etc.
  • Basic LabVIEW knowledge.
  • Basic soldering skill.
  • Internship tenure 6 months period starting in 2023.
