Job Summary:



The R&D Manager is responsible for leading the Research & Development team in driving innovation, improving existing products, and developing new solutions to meet business objectives and market demands. This role ensures that R&D projects are aligned with company goals, completed on time, and within budget, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



Responsible for all research and development of products related matters. To plan, design and formulate a new product/ process as well as improve existing product/ process, from project creation to realization in production. To search and evaluate new raw materials; review and improve the application for new & current raw materials and packaging materials when necessary. To plan, organize and oversee production trials. To support process improvements, production scale up and troubleshooting. To ensure product development are continual improvement in quality and safety; compatible and beneficial to the manufacturing capabilities; research feasibility in terms of profitability, resource availability and compliance with regulations. To carry out laboratory management including maintenance and calibration of lab instruments/ equipment. To maintain a high level of quality, control and quality assurance of all analysis carried out in the laboratory. To ensure data analysis and specifications of products are regularly updated and reviewed. To conduct sensory evaluation, shelf life & stability study toward new products & existing products. To prepare reports of the R & D department to management. To ensure all R&D documentation and daily analysis records are updated, maintained and filed accordingly. To establish related training for juniors and always supervise them for R&D jobs. To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time. To perform other duties stipulated as per MeSTI & HACCP requirements

Job Requirements :



Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in the field of Food Management, Food Science, Food Management, Food Technology or other relevant courses. Candidates must have experience and knowledge of R&D in Food & Beverages industry -Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Words is a MUST. Excellent Writing and Communication skills in English. Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Organizational, Leadership and multi-tasking skills are required. A mature team player, resourceful and self-motivated with high integrity, independent, responsible and aggressive. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English. Applicants must be willing to work in BANDAR ENSTEK, NEGERI SEMBILAN

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
