Job Description

R&D Manager has the duty of developing new products, cost and quality improvement product. In his/her day-to-day tasks makes certain that production and manufacturing lines perform efficiently, coordinates employee efforts, and facilitates communications between management and production departments. He/she also grants that product quality can be developed to meet the relevant authorities and customers requirement.Description of position:

• Lead R&D department
• Lead NPD processes from concept to commercialization including development, shelf life study, TDS, etc
• Lead all development and optimization initiatives for innovative and renovative projects
• Lead trial run processes, trouble-shooting and improvements in control settings
• Responsible for new product development and transfer recipes from headquarter
• Proactively design and establish R&D operative procedures
• Responsible on product compliance with country regulation
• Recruitment of R&D personnel
• Establish and execute development plans, build an excellent team by retaining and growing talent. Identify learning opportunities and proactive coaching

Position skills:

• Knowledge in food technology and formulation.
• Knowledge in food analysis, theoretic and practice
• Knowledge in fat chemistry, theoretic.
• Knowledge mentoring and coaching
• Knowledge and understanding of food process regulations and requirement
• Integrity and approachability, must feel able to discuss sensitive and confidential issues;
• Curiosity and a willingness to challenge organizational culture where necessary;
• The ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner;
