Job Description

Main Responsibility:-

As a R&D Mechanical Design Engineer, the incumbent will be heavily involved in the design and development of automotive accessories parts for OEM and REM market. This will span from the evaluation of new technologies through the implementation of the final model. This is a busy, responsible and demanding position which offers large scope self-improvement opportunities.

:-

1. To implement great design and solve engineering problems to make products that meet all performance and functional criteria within demanding project timescale.

2. To participate in design review by the Engineering Manager to justify design detail.

3. To prepare and update DFMEA document, design know-how and other document related to design.

4. To confirm the off-tools samples meet the design requirement and intend.

5. To coordinate with QA/QC, Process, Production, BDM, Purchasing, Defect Analysis Department and supplier for the completion of the project within timescale.

Required Skill(s) / Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/ Electromechanical) or equivalent.

2. At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

3. Have a thorough knowledge of

product design, materials, processes and related manufacturing techniques

.

Knowledge and understanding of plastic injection moulding

and other manufacturing methods.

5. A strong understanding of practical and methodical design development through prototyping, testing and evaluation of result.

6. Experiences in

Automotive Electronics Industry

will be added advantages.

7. A good working knowledge of 3D CAD (preferably

CATIA V5

).

8. Required Skill(s):

CAD, CATIA, PCB, C, C++, C#, mplab

,

9. Understanding of fundamental physical theories and general engineering principles.

10. Dynamic, responsible, proactive, independent and result oriented attitude.

11. Good communication and presentation skill and ability to translate and communicate technical information to project teams and manager as required.

12. Good organizational skills, able to plan ahead, prioritize tasks and coordinated with the work of others

13. Able to multitask without losing focus in a rapidly changing environment.

14. Willing to work in Kawasan Perindustrian Pandan, Johor Bahru.

15. Willing to outstation and working overtime to complete the project if required.

16. Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required by your superior.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
