Education Achievement: BSc, Chemistry, Physics, Polymer Engineering or equivalent
Experience/Knowledge: Hands on Practical/Technical Manufacturing Engineering Production and Process Trouble Shooting
Knowledge Plastics Compounding experience
Specific Skills: PC literate Excel and Access skills
Good communication skills
Task orientated, Team Player, Flexible Working with many cultures

Responsibilities

Management of major R&D projects, including relevant investigation of standards and manufacturing practices, materials design and specification
Co-ordinate commercialization of new PL products, applications and processes in the market
Provide input to the partnership development with Polymer Link selected customers products and processes that adds value to the customers business
Responding to technical calls from customers and as directed by the sales team members
Provide input, training and literature to support the Group marketing and sales function
Provide technical advisory role for customer problems
Ensure timely and accurate follow up on customer complaints
Provide technical advisory role in assigning product & process specifications
Manage QC function
Maintain lab equipment and manage calibration
