About the Role

The Receiving Assistant is responsible for ensuring all goods delivered to the hotel are received, inspected, recorded, and stored according to established hotel policies and procedures. This role supports smooth operations in all hotel departments by maintaining accuracy in stock handling and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices. Inspect goods for quality, quantity, and condition, and report any discrepancies or damages. Ensure proper documentation and filing of delivery records. Label and store items in designated areas according to storage and hygiene standards. Assist in monitoring stock levels and inform the Storekeeper/Manager of low or excess stock. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving and storage areas. Coordinate with Purchasing and relevant departments for urgent or special orders. Follow hotel safety, security, and hygiene procedures at all times. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Receiving Supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification. Prior experience in store/receiving operations (hotel or F&B industry preferred). Basic knowledge of inventory management and documentation. Physically fit to handle loading/unloading activities. Good attention to detail, honesty, and reliability. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
