Our flexible meeting spaces, including a ballroom for up to 400 guests, are ideal for organizing events.Do you see yourself as a Receiving Officer with Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar?We are seeking a passionate Receiving Officer who can combine informality and fun with professionalism and sophistication, leaders with an inclusive spirit who embrace individuality and inject positivity into their work environments.Our colleagues are fundamental to delivering memorable experiences, and we are committed to creating a culture as diverse as the distinct hotels in our portfolio.Your day to dayEvery day is different, but you'll mostly be:Ensuring that the supplies are correct as per the order and business needs and are as per the purchase order.Maintaining internal controls over the requisitioning and issuing of items; direct the delivery of supplies to appropriate departments or storage areas; and ensure reports and records are updated and forwarded to the appropriate contact for payment/ further processing, based on hotel policies and procedures.Coordinating with respective departmental heads to ensure the receiving of standard quality of supplies.Ensuring that all the security check procedures are followed by vendors while entering the supplies in premises for delivery.Checking all the supplies are in good condition upon receiving & delivering immediate information. to supplier and procurement department in case any rejection/defect in same.Acknowledging the supplies to vendors on receiving of proper documents in respect.Dispatching of the material to respective kitchens, departments and stores.Ensuring strict control over the expiry date items.Ensuring strict implementation of the Control Self Assessment.What we need from youFor you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:Minimum Diploma or equivalent.At least two years of related work experience.Able to communicate with team members.Must speak English and Bahasa Malaysia.What we offerIn return we'll give you a competitive benefit package including, hotel discounts worldwide and the opportunity to progress your career with IHGxc2xae.
