Job Description

Greet and Assist Guests

: Welcome guests arriving at the hotel in a friendly and professional manner. Assist with check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.

Answer Phone Calls

: Handle incoming phone calls, answer guest inquiries, and manage room reservations.

Manage Reservations

: Process room reservations through the hotel management system, confirm booking details, and ensure room availability as per schedule.

Handle Payments

: Manage payment transactions (cash, credit card, or digital) and provide receipts to guests.

Provide Information

: Offer guests information about hotel facilities, nearby attractions, and travel guidance.

Handle Complaints

: Listen to and resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ensure Guest Security and Privacy

: Safeguard guest security and privacy while handling personal information or registrations.

Coordinate with Team

: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Qualifications:

Work Experience

: At least 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist or in the hospitality industry is an advantage.

Communication Skills

: Good communication skills in both English and Malay. Additional languages are a plus.

IT Skills

: Proficient in using computers and hotel management systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is also required.

Personality

: Friendly, professional, and patient in customer service. Able to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Appearance

: Must maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times while on duty.

Availability

: Must be available for rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
