We are Malayan Flour Mills Berhad, an established billions ringgit public listed food manufacturing company. We aspire to be a leading food manufacturing enterprise in the region and have also diversified its business from flour milling to the sale of raw materials and integrated poultry business. Its integrated poultry business includes the breeding and sale of day-old chicks, broiler and breeder farming, processing and sale of poultry products and feeds milling. Plan, manage, implement, and maintain the entire plant refrigeration system to ensure no disruption to the production and operate optimally while complying to prevailing standards specified by local, regional, and international regulators.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the usage of the refrigeration system with the operations team to ensure the efficient usage of the refrigeration system that is optimally configured to achieve energy efficiency.
• Obtain energy consumption data and recommend improvements (e.g. process, technology, structure, etc.) that can be implemented to contribute towards lowering energy consumption.
• Contribute towards layout design, planning and implementing any new / modifications made to the refrigeration system to ensure it meets the requirements of the production operation, as well as leading practices.
• Monitor the performance of the refrigeration system to identify and diagnose potential problems, breakdowns, and repairs that are required. Proactively make plans to rectify and repair to avoid any unplanned downtime of the refrigeration system.
• Constantly keep abreast of the technological evolution, leading practices, and industry standards to upkeep and implement feasible technological enhancements that are beneficial to improved performance and better efficiency.
• Research new materials and propose solutions that can be utilized or implemented in our refrigeration system to improve the equipment design and functionality.
• Research on the usage of various refrigerants, chemicals, and solutions that can be utilized in the refrigeration system, while being compliant to environmental and regulatory standards.
• Manage suppliers, contractors, and vendors of the refrigeration system to ensure the maintenance repair or installation of equipment fulfills the requirement/ performance expected by the stakeholders.
• Recommend and enforce changes to the company policies pertaining to usage of the refrigeration equipment, whilst ensuring it promotes a safe workplace and work for the workforce within the plant facility.
• Develop and share the knowledge in the area of expertise with the team, to enhance the competency and upskill the skillset of the workforce in the team.
• Perform any work or responsibility assigned by the Management as and when necessary.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
• 1 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years or fresh graduates with hands-on internship experience are encouraged to apply.
