Motivating, coaching and counselling Branch Manager as a group and on an individual basis
To actively build and maintain strong working relationships by:
Maintaining and growing the network to include contacts in major institutions in financial services industry and other industries
Establishing and maintaining strong working relationship with key CIMB staff
Maintaining and supporting the building of strong relationship with long term, profitable customers
To lead the execution of campaigns in the assigned area
To resolve operational and administrative issues and escalate all critical or unresolved issues to Head of CSD
Sales Executions
To approve fully collaterised personal loan (e.g, OD,ASB) up to RM 1,000,000
To approve FD rate exception (max. 5 basis points)
Customer Relationship
To monitor the execution of strategies
To improve customer waiting time and customer experience (e.g. look and feel, branding etc.) across the area
To proactively build and maintain long term and profitable relationships with key customers, and assigning valued customers to Branch Managers for relationship management.
To resolve critical or unresolved customer and sales team related issues escalated by Branch Manager.
To review feedback from customers and branch sales team on areas of improvement (e.g. product, process, pricing, competitors\' information) and channel feedback to respective parties.
To monitor turnaround times for credit applications, approvals and disbursement to ensure fulfilment within required service levels.
Compliance
To ensure Branch Managers adhere strictly to CIMB policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliances and BNM guidelines
To propose and manage annual financial budgets, including ad hoc budgets for the Regional Directors
To monitor budget utilisation and explain variances as necessary
To comply with all reporting requirements: i.e. Monthly Branch performance report to be submitted to Head of CSD
People Management
To select and hire Branch Manager, adhere strictly to CIMB policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliance and BNM guidelines.
To oversee and provide direction to staff at branches and ensuring strict adherence to CIMB policies and procedures
