Our client is a multinational company with a global branding supported by an established management team and a culture that supports personal and professional development. A robust training framework is one of their core pillars in investing in their employees.They are looking for Regional Finance Manager / Regional Finance Controller that looks after the Statutory reporting & Business Partnering activities.Job responsibilities include:

• Ensure that adequate financial management procedures and systems are in place within the Company\'s Group
• Business Partnering activities with Regional F&A Team, as well as Marketing / other operational teams
• Be the final gatekeeper and responsible for month end closing processes (after closing as been done by GL Reporting team)
• Take part in balance sheet governance activities & advisory work.
• Utilize financial data interpretation skills to provide timely and accurate variance analysis and insightful commentary for statutory reporting.
• Work closely with key stakeholders (CFO, Cluster Financial Controllers, Local Controllers, Finance Managers) to provide valuable financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Work with Group Internal Audit and Controls and Compliance personnel to ensure strong internal controls / governance process exist
• Prepare Financial reports for quarterly and annual closings and ensure that the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations.
• Responsible for the statutory audit, statutory accounts activities
• Comply with the financial reporting requirements of the Headquarters (monthly, quarterly and annual reporting according to IFRS, lease, and risk assessment, etc.)

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Total years of experience should be a minimum of 7 years in accounting & Finance field
• Experience in statutory reporting activities & Experience liaising with External auditors is required
• Candidate from Big 4 background is advantageous
• Strong technical knowledge in understanding and interpreting financial reporting standards.
• Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications e.g.ACCA/CPA/MIA.
• Good communication skill and able to communicate effectively in English.
• Candidates from International MNC/SSC with regional exposure will be great
