Develop and spearhead the execution of Marketing Communication strategies and plans to build the Group\'s business banking. This includes the development of annual Marketing Communication plan, campaign plans to achieve KPI for new product launches, media deployment plan and PR initiatives, amongst other key responsibilities.
Keep abreast of market landscape to capitalize on opportunities such as trends in digital banking and digital Marketing Communication.
Ensure robust processes are in place to optimize planning, improve alignment of key stakeholders and drive strategic prioritization.
Build synergy and best practice sharing across the markets (with similar functions at the country level).
Partner with colleagues across the region to support the implementation of regional Marketing Communication projects.
Management and Reporting
Ensure campaigns are evaluated against key effectiveness and efficiencies target.
Ensure key learnings are captured and corrective actions are taken when applicable.
Champion collaboration with other departments and facilitate collaboration across countries for sharing of best practices and business opportunities.
Manages pool of Marketing Communication budget in collaboration with Finance and business units.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, CIMB policies & procedures, client mandates, guidelines market conventions, and the Department\'s policies and procedures.
Role model and drive activities to encourage and build desired organizational culture, values and reputation in the Group markets and with all staff, customers and regulatory/official bodies.
People Management
Build robust leadership and Marketing Communication skill sets for sustainability and talent pipeline (in collaboration with HR).
Champion leadership (empowerment) agenda and embed right culture within and across teams.
Manage the performance of the Marketing Communication team in collaboration with HR.
Manage and be accountable for 3rd party agency performance (creative, media, digital)
