Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Regional HR and Admin Manager to oversee human resources and administrative functions across our regional offices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management, a strong understanding of local labour laws across Asia, and the ability to lead and implement HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Policy Leadership
: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR strategies, policies, and procedures across the region, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and local regulations.
Team Leadership and Development
: Manage and mentor the HR and administrative team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and training opportunities to foster professional growth and team effectiveness.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
: Oversee and lead recruitment efforts across the region, ensuring the attraction, hiring, and onboarding of top talent, while coaching the HR team on best practices in talent acquisition.
Employee Relations
: Take a hands-on role in resolving complex employee relations issues, coaching managers on conflict resolution, and leading efforts to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
Performance Management
: Lead the performance management process within the region, ensuring that employee appraisals, feedback, and development plans are effectively executed across teams.
Training and Development
: Identify regional training needs and lead the creation and delivery of employee development programs to enhance skills, engagement, and leadership capabilities across the workforce.
Compliance with Labor Laws
: Ensure strict adherence to regional labour laws, including wage and hour laws, employee benefits, health and safety regulations, and other compliance matters, while advising senior management on regulatory changes and implications.
HR Metrics & Reporting
: Lead the tracking and reporting of key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, employee satisfaction, training completion), providing actionable insights to senior management to optimize HR strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience leading and managing HR and administrative teams in a regional or multi-site environment.
In-depth knowledge of regional labour laws and compliance regulations, with the ability to adapt HR strategies to meet local legal requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams, driving collaboration, productivity, and employee engagement.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on executing HR initiatives and addressing complex operational and employee issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization.
Proficiency with HR management systems (HRMS) and administrative tools to streamline processes and reporting.
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD) being a plus
