Looking for a Regional Internal Auditor to overlook Asia & Middle East countries Your new company Amongst one of the most internationally recognised Europe-based companies in the world, this organisation is a market leader in the manufacturing areas of industrial coatings. Your new role Participates in maintaining a key internal control framework that is the common denominator for all entities and functions globally and in the region. Adapts and cascade the internal control framework to the entities in the region, educate teams and ensure this framework is understood and applied. Performs internal audit reviews and advisory services according to the audit plan and specific business needs. Review processes as part of audits (walk-throughs of key financial and operational processes and controls) and identification of improvement measures in collaboration with the local entities or the process owners. Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and internal controls, as well as the adequacy of group and local policies. Prepares internal audit reports and communicates the findings to the various stakeholders. What you\'ll need to succeed At least 5 years of relevant experience in auditing with a strong focus on internal control reviews. Academic degree in economics, finance, accounting or internal audit. Experience in an audit firm or the internal audit function of a global company. Good background and understanding of financial aspects, financial statements, and good business acumen. Willingness to travel internationally (around 30-40% of the time).
