We are looking for a talented, dedicated professional to help shape and implement the University of Bristol\'s international strategy for Southeast Asia. The role will be based in Kuala Lumpur and will be fully dedicated to representing the University of Bristol. The role\'s primary focus will be to work as part of a network of overseas officers delivering recruitment, partnerships, and profile-raising activities as part of the University of Bristol International Office. You will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of an ambitious student recruitment strategy that identifies the South East Asia region as a key area for growth. The Regional Manager will work with, and report directly to the Deputy Head of International Student Recruitment and maintain regular contact with the Director of International, and staff from across the International Office and the Global Engagement Division (including the Alumni Relations Office). The Regional Manager will be expected to represent Bristol in a way that reflects the mission, values, and objectives of the university, and will be required to: Maintain deep knowledge of the UK education environment and UK admissions processes, including UCAS, and visa requirements set out by UKVI Keep abreast of market developments and customer context and provide regular market intelligence to the university with a view to providing recommendations such as the range of academic programmes offered and entry criteria Manage a range of activities, both directly and across recruitment channels and partners: - Leading the development of a recruitment activities calendar - Leading the training of education agents and other partners in the region to ensure consistent and accurate representation of Bristol. - Conducting presentations and attending recruitment and marketing events across the Southeast Asia region - Managing the collection and analysis of key data such as student application quality and conversion rates and feeding key information into management reports - Supporting recruitment to our successful IFP programme - Supporting the development of training materials - Providing frontline support for all inquiries Supervision of the International Recruitment Officer (also based in Kuala Lumpur) - The Regional Manager will line management to the International Recruitment Officer whose role focuses on specific markets and recruitment channels. While each role has distinct responsibilities, the Regional Manager will approve recruitment activities, and provide strategic guidance to ensure alignment and effectiveness across all initiatives and markets Facilitate and support faculty visits to Southeast Asia Develop and manage a regional budget and track expenses Support the development of Education/ recruitment-oriented partnerships (under the supervision of the University\'s International Partnerships Team) and activities related to alumni management. The position involves frequent, sophisticated interaction with international clients, and significant travel time is required (40%).
