Job Description

Job scope :-

To be a part of the Regional Supply Chain Team responsible for managing sales forecasts, bridge between sales and purchasing/ operations/ production, production/ procurement planning of Raw materials/ traded goods, inventory management, driving cost savings initiatives, managing databases and relevant reporting.

Responsibilities: -

1. Forecasting

• Sales Budget/ Forecast validation and evaluation for production allocation, capacity utilization and relevant reporting
• Manage Intercompany sales and production budgets/ forecasts.
• Budget/ forecast accuracy and feedback system

2. Material Planning

• Monitor stock and consumption of key production/ traded material and define a detailed material requirement forecast to support decision-making for regional purchasing
• Participate in the weekly/monthly Sales - Supply planning meeting/s along with Sales, Mfg. and Procurement functions and give triggers on specific production & purchasing inputs (what/how much/when/where) in order to ensure OTIF
• Production and procurement planning based on forecasts/ open orders/ enquiry pipeline

3. Inventory Management

• Implement strategic initiatives to maintain optimum inventory levels and reduce NM/SM stocks.
• Deploy necessary procurement planning processes and provide \xe2\x80\x9creal-time\xe2\x80\x9d visibility of material availability and predict stock-outs in advance and trigger actions.

4. Initiative & Reporting

• Monitoring and driving Strategic Cost Savings Initiatives
• Extract and analyze data related to stock/production/sales; prepare monthly reports according to the business needs.
• Manage Price Database
• Prepare Spend Analysis
• Drive actions to ensure high compliance of external audits.

Requirement :-

\xc2\xa7 5-10 years working experience in Planning/ Supply Chain/ Manufacturing

\xc2\xa7 Capable of managing communication with HOD\'s

\xc2\xa7 Self- driven with zeal to learn and challenge norms

\xc2\xa7 Strong data analytic capabilities.

\xc2\xa7 Good team player

\xc2\xa7 Quick learner and open minded

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of ERP systems, Power BI, etc. would be an added advantage.

Qualification: -

Degree in Management, Engineering or Economics; with good academic background.

Supply Chain Certification would be an advantage e.g., APICS.
