Summary The Regional Project Management Consultant provides Project Management support for implementation of Greater Asia Project & Program objectives in the region, starting with the regional roll-out of the new bd.com corporate website across the Greater Asia region.
The Regional Market Analyst leads the assigned projects/programs through building effective relationships with commercial & cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Business Units, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal etc.).
The Regional Project Management Consultant will drive the delivery of the projects/programs through advanced project management techniques and methodologies in coordination with Regional Marketing CoE and local marketing teams.

The Regional Project Management Consultant provides Project Management support for implementation of Greater Asia Project & Program objectives in the region, starting with the regional roll-out of the new bd.com corporate website across the Greater Asia region.
I. Key Responsibilities
Successfully planning, executing, and delivering project roadmap
Serve as a central point of contact for cross-functional & cross-BU teams in implementation of the project activities & tasks
Organize project governance meetings & report any roadblocks/changes in scope/schedule/cost to project steering committee/sponsor
Establish and drive different forums for coordination between key stakeholders in functions & BUs
Track project progress against roadmap, deliverables, portfolio health and financial benefits
Track & monitor progress on implementation of project specific requirements
Define the forums and a suggested meeting cadence to ensure appropriate coordination and accountabilities
Outline the metrics and tracking systems that will drive accountability and define how they will be used
Identify potential project risks and outline mitigation strategies (and embed in operating model where relevant)
Establish Team Structure: Identify the cross-functional resources required to successfully complete the project objectives
Align with Regional stakeholders on scorecard/dashboard template for reporting
Co-ordinate with other major global projects/initiatives as needed
With regards to the project 'Re-imagined bd.com':
Map content to be migrated in target websites (incl. microsites content and ability to list and extract analytics) with local Subject Matter Experts support
Provide updated content where needed with local Subject Matter Experts support
Coordinate between countries at region level and act as SPOC for the global team (facilitate discussions and keep track of milestones at region level)

Skilled in driving the Project Core Team to manage scope, schedule, and budget
Provides principal drive towards action for Project Core Team & Extended Team
Able to establish a governance structure with operating mechanisms and appropriate cadence
Must be knowledgeable in project management industry best practices and have in-depth understanding of the project management planning process
Able to coordinate and drive multiple stakeholders throughout the organization to meet project objectives in time
Communication
Delivers project specific communications
Able to maintain regular, effective communications with Project Core Team, Steering Committee Members & other stakeholders
Leads the development of a comprehensive communication plan with Cross-functional & Country BU Leads as needed
Proven ability to apply appropriate communication, facilitation & escalation skills to ensure effective information exchange between different stakeholders
Risk and Issue Management
Capable of demonstrating an understanding of the value of continuous risk management to identify risks and brainstorm mitigation plans.
Able to distinguish between risk mitigation and issue resolution; demonstrating an understanding of how one may evolve into the other.
Business Acumen
Knowledge of BD policies, practices, trends, and technology developments to help drive decision making to reduce project risk and achieve project results.
Capable of using applicable BD and EPPM processes and procedures required to accomplish assigned work (i.e.: procurement process, contracting, legal, etc.).
Able to clearly articulate how a project strategically aligns with KDGs.
Digital savvy - experience in UX/UI design and understanding of the disciplines required to drive online traffic and conversion, and improve websites performance.
Organizational Savvy
Required to understand BD's core businesses and the functions that support them.
Can identify key project stakeholders and understand their goals and motivations for the project.
Ability to utilize the resources, tools and processes available to direct how to get things done at BD; strong knowledge of who to turn to for guidance, direction and assistance.
Able to promote cross functional collaboration within assigned project teams.
III. Education / Certifications
Required Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field of study with a minimum of 8 years working for a large global manufacturing company.
OR:
Formal project management training plus minimum of 12 years' work experience in a large global manufacturing company managing medium sized global projects.
Preferred Education & Experience:
BS in business administration or project management
PMP, PgMP, Prince II Certification or equivalent
Highly Organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work with stakeholders across various levels in a matrixed environment
