Job Description

As the VP of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for designing and leading the recruitment strategy for a multinational corporation's Malaysia wide team. This role is based in Penang and requires three days in the office and regional travel.
Reporting into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition based internationally, you will be integral to shaping the recruitment team to best engage with talent regionally.

  • Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans to meet business goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of recruitment professionals across the region.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and managers to understand their staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Utilise data analytics to monitor recruitment performance and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations in Penang and other regions.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to attract and maintain talent.
  • Develop partnerships with external recruitment agencies and other third parties.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on market trends and talent strategies.

  • Educated to Bachelors degree level, ideally in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in talent acquisition strategies and recruitment leadership.
  • Experience in managing large teams and working in a complex matrix organisation.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
