Job Summary:**

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Proactively manage and grow a designated portfolio of individual and/or corporate clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling UOB products and services.
  • Conduct thorough financial needs analysis for clients, recommending appropriate banking, investment, and insurance solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic client engagement plans to deepen relationships, increase client satisfaction, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to provide informed advice to clients and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all client interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, credit risk, and operations teams, to deliver seamless client service.
  • Prepare and present financial proposals, reports, and presentations to clients in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving inquiries and issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Actively participate in business development activities, including networking events, to acquire new clients and expand the client base.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and transaction details within the bank's systems.

Job Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with a focus on retail, commercial, or corporate banking.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products and services, including loans, deposits, investments, and wealth management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, economic principles, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the banking sector in Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and influence decision-making.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CUTE, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
