Together with Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars & Vans, we are developing the "Retail of the Future" initiative that meets today\'s requirements of an online & offline direct marketplace.

We are seeking a respected and enthusiastic professional to fill the role of a Release & Test Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Retail of the Future for the AAP markets (Africa, Asia-Pacific) located in Malaysia.

A Release Manager is a person responsible for managing the complete software delivery life cycle. They have to work with the team from the planning phase to the deployment phase through the development and testing phases.

Release Manager should collaborate with the development and IT operation teams from the start mainly to enable continuous delivery of a solution in the hands of the customers. The test Manager is in charge of overseeing the testing team as well as collaborating with other team members. Test Coordinator should take care of test planning, test execution monitoring, and resolving issues that hamper testing. He/she has to identify what are the end goals for a product and monitor test results to ensure that goal and quality are being ensure:

• Release Manager is responsible for scheduling, planning, and controlling the software\'s development and delivery process for all AAP Markets\xe2\x80\x93 Ensure

• Chair delivery meetings with the several teams with in same department and different departments, ensuring all changes align to planned releases for Multiple Markets and Manage cross-group dependencies and cross-department dependencies. - Ensure

• Establish priorities (and lead without direct authority) to ensure the release & QA management function will meet or exceed project and program timescales for Multiple Markers in AAP - Ensure

• Communicate the project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams for AAP Markets- Contributes

• Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected. Release Manager also track the progress and find issues, if any. Always work to improve the process of release for all AAP Markets \xe2\x80\x93 Ensures

• Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule for all AAP Markets and Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully \xe2\x80\x93 Ensures

• Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release delivery \xe2\x80\x93 Ensures

• Highly engaged leader who is obsessed with quality with an eye toward developing a \xe2\x80\x9cworld class\xe2\x80\x9d software quality for all AAP Markets\xe2\x80\x93 Ensures

• Establish metrics for measurement of quality and operational excellence and oversee consistent, regular processes for assessment and improvements. You will also create and maintain policies, standards, and overall system documentation- Ensures

• Managing release/ QA activity across several ART and delivering multiple markets releases in parallel

• Has to identify what are the end goals for each Markets in AAP Region and monitor test results to ensure that goal and quality are being ensured for all Markets - Ensures

• Define best practices and improvement ideas to drive efficiency and continuous improvement - Ensures

• Excellent communicator, well organized, good team builder, cooperative and composed under pressure since he/she will be working in Parallel for multiple Markets releases \xe2\x80\x93 Ensures

• Manage various testing activities, such as SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Penetration Testing - Ensures

\xc2\xb7 B.Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree

\xc2\xb7 Min. 5 years professional experience in Release and Test management or equivalent areas

\xc2\xb7 Project management experience

\xc2\xb7 Superior experience with modern project management tools (e.g. Confluence/Jira) as well as MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience with agile working methodologies (i.e. Scrum, SAFe) is critical

\xc2\xb7 Plan and give Daily/weekly updates on the release activities

\xc2\xb7 Diverse experience in Software Testing Lifecycle adhering to globally accepted test methodology that includes User Acceptance Testing, System Testing and System Integration Testing

\xc2\xb7 Proven experience in both manual and automation testing cross UI, service and DB levels

\xc2\xb7 Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community

\xc2\xb7 The ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities

\xc2\xb7 Strong team orientation (we are team players!)

\xc2\xb7 Great pleasure in collaboration with counterparts from different business and IT areas, MBM markets and being essential part of an international project team
