Job Description

Position Summary

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring product, process, supplier, etc reliability through planning, executing, and analyzing reliability tests. This role involves applying engineering principles, statistical methods, and reliability tools to assess product life, performance, and robustness.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement reliability test plans for qualification. Define reliability requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with design, quality, and manufacturing teams. Use statistical and reliability modeling tools (e.g., Weibull, MTBF) to predict product life and field performance. Support qualification of new products, materials, processes, suppliers, etc. Testing capability development and tester issue troubleshooting Drive continuous improvement of reliability methodologies, test coverage, and equipment capabilities. Prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related engineering field. Knowledge of reliability standards (e.g., Telcordia, GR468, MIL-STD, IEC). Experience with reliability testing, data analysis, and statistical methods. Strong problem-solving skills Good teamwork, communication and documentation skills.
